I graduated from the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and am currently teaching the violin at Scotch College and Melbourne Girls Grammar.
During my time studying with Sophie Rowell and Sarah Curro at the Melbourne Conservatorium I was a recipient of the Corinna D'Hage string scholarship and under the tutelage of Lisa Grosman, the VCASS Annual String Scholarship.
I have played as a soloist in performances of Vivaldi's Four Violin Concerto in B minor and Igor Stravinski's Pulcinella with Fabian Russel at the Melbourne Recital Centre. I was concertmaster for Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, principal violinist for Aaron Coplan's Appalachian Spring under Wawrick Stenguards at the Melbourne Recital Centre and play-direct for Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings. I performed solo repertoire in a public masterclass by Lu Siqing hosted by MSO and my string quartet performed Shostakovich and Dvorak string quartets at the Melbourne Recital Centre.
During my time at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music I played in Symphony & Philharmonic orchestras, piano trio and string quartet.At VCASS I studied VCE Music Performance 3/4 (Chamber), Music Investigation 3/4 (Solo), Music Language 3/4, and Music Styles & Composition 3/4. My string quartet with Candice Yang, Indyana Kippin and Chang il Yoo performed at 2018 VCE Top Class and Top Acts, and I have gained much of my orchestral experience under Fabian Russell’s orchestra projects, at National Music Camps, Melbourne Youth Orchestra, and Corpus Medicorum.
